Hashemi Nezhad Hospital, also known as Shahid Hashemi Nezhad Hospital, was established in 1958 by the late Hajj Mohammad Mehdi Ebrahimi Dari as a private charity. In September 1985, it was renamed to honor Shahid Hashemi Nezhad. The hospital is affiliated with the Iran University of Medical Sciences and has been a national center for treating kidney diseases since 1985. It is recognized as the first and largest hemodialysis and kidney transplantation center in Iran, with over 30 years of continuous operation.
