Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center, established in 1956, is a 358-bed acute care hospital in Hazard, Kentucky, serving Perry and surrounding counties. It includes an adjacent psychiatric hospital designated for a 21-county region, a Level II nursery, accredited cancer and breast centers, and one of ARH’s two Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACHs). As part of the Appalachian Regional Healthcare system, it is the largest provider and employer in southeastern Kentucky, known for its commitment to rural health, innovation, and comprehensive services

I could never say enough great things about the labor and delivery department. I gave birth to my son on 01/31/2023 and was in the hospital from 01/29/2023 till 02/02/2023. The night shift ladies were my favorite but everyone was wonderful. I had the best care and so did Opie. Although my delivery was brutal they made me feel so comfortable.

Yesterday I fell and hit my head hard enough to result in large and extremely bloody laceration on the back of my head. The staff, nurses, and the doctor were so professional and comforting that it made a bad experience less traumatic. Thank you especially to the nurses who took great care of me.
