Heshmatieh Hospital is a historic public hospital located on Asadabadi Street in Sabzevar, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. Established in 1919 through the efforts of Dr. Ghasem Ghani and the investment of Salar Heshmat, the governor at the time, the hospital was built on a 4,500-square-meter site outside the city. It is considered the first hospital built in Khorasan Province and one of Iran's earliest hospitals.
Initially, Heshmatieh Hospital had 12 beds and later expanded to 160 beds, serving surgical, general, and eye departments. After 82 years of service, the hospital ceased operations for a few years but was re-inaugurated in 2014 with eight floors covering an area of 19,000 square meters. Currently, it operates with 200 beds across specialized and super-specialty departments, providing comprehensive medical services to patients in Iran and from around the world.
