1. Advanced Technology: The HKSH Cancer Centre houses the first proton therapy centre in Hong Kong. Awards & Recognition

1. Proton Therapy System: This includes two half-rotating proton therapy gantries, a synchrotron-based accelerator, and an advanced beam transport system. The Proton Therapy Centre, located at the HKSH Eastern Medical Centre, is the first of its kind in Hong Kong​​.

2. Unity MR Linac: This is Asia's first clinical Unity MR Linac, which combines magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with linear accelerator technology. It allows for precise targeting of tumors with daily imaging to monitor changes, enhancing the accuracy of radiotherapy​​.

3. MR Simulators: These are used to streamline the planning and positioning process for radiotherapy, reducing the need for multiple imaging sessions and minimizing geometric distortions​.
