The Ho Chi Minh City Heart Institute (Heart Hospital) was established in 1992 with support from France and operates independently in terms of finance. It is a leading hospital specializing in advanced cardiac diagnosis, prevention, early detection, treatment, and rehabilitation. The Institute is renowned for its high-quality care for both Vietnamese and foreign patients, especially children. Since its inception, it has conducted over 3.3 million consultations and performed more than 30,000 heart surgeries, making it the second-largest cardiovascular center in the region and a prestigious training ground for cardiologists in Vietnam
