Established in 1963, HKBH has expanded significantly over the last six decades, evolving into a comprehensive private general hospital that features over 30 specialized medical and allied health centers dedicated to delivering high-quality medical services. 

To fulfill our service commitment “Reaching out to serve the community”, HKBH has committed to expand its ambulatory services in recent years. Located in the Kwun Tong South Business District (Ngau Tau Kok), the HKBH East Kowloon Medical Centre (EKMC), which is the hospital’s inaugural multi-storey ambulatory medical centre, commenced operations on December 30, 2024, following over six years of planning and commissioning.

EKMC encompasses a wide range of general and multi-specialty outpatient services, including laboratory and radiology services, as well as day surgery, dialysis, and chemotherapy. Additionally, EKMC also provides allied health services, including physiotherapy, dietetic services and rehabilitation service, all aimed at addressing the healthcare needs of the community. This initiative represents a continuation of the Hospital’s groundbreaking efforts to establish the first Ambulatory Medical Centre (AMC) in East Kowloon by the end of December 2020, signifying a significant advancement in the development of HKBH and playing a vital role in the long-term enhancement of the Hospital’s healthcare services.
