Starting this Wednesday, the Comprehensive and Timely Medical Care Center (CAMINO) Nazareth, located at 47B Street # 16-37, is at the service of citizens. Mayor Jaime Pumarejo Heins and Romulo Rodado, manager of MiRed IPS, opened this new space, which becomes the tenth building with these characteristics within the district health hospital network in Barranquilla, which will benefit nearly 57,000 people from the surrounding neighborhoods, impacting three localities: Metropolitan, Southwest and Southeast.

CAMINO Nazareth was built with the best medical-scientific specifications required by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, which will guarantee the articulation and integration of care in the health service delivery network model that places Barranquilla as the model city for health service delivery networks in Colombia.

Residents of the Pumarejo, Ciudad Modesto, Cevillar, La Ceiba, La Sierra, Villate, Cuchilla de Villate, Buena Esperanza, Pumarejo, El Valle, El Carmen and San José neighborhoods, among others, will be the main beneficiaries of this renovated medical care center.
