1. Emergency visit for our grandson. We try hard, but don't speak very good French. This did not matter to the staff who were extremely helpful and patient (excuse the pun). From the excellent receptionist to the excellent doctor, nothing stopped them giving us first class service and treatment. Merci beaucoup.
2. My 20-year-old son went to the emergency room 2 weeks ago following a call on the 15th recommended by a doctor via teleconsultation.
Lots of people but relatively quick support for pre-examination (triage).
We then waited a long time for him to be taken care of.
So yes we waited a long time, yes emergencies are treated as a priority (this is obviously common sense), but clearly I found it all rather well organized and the various contacts very receptive.
In short, it's never a good experience but I expected much worse...
Thank you in any case to the nursing staff for doing their best despite a patient base that is not always easy!!!!
