About Us :

Founded in 1855 as "Hospice Central," the CHNP is Luxembourg’s oldest and largest psychiatric hospital. It is structured into three main entities:

Rehaklinik: Psychiatric rehabilitation for adults with chronic severe mental illness (psychosis, mood disorders).
Centre Pontalize: Care and support for elderly people, including psychogeriatric services.
De Park: Socio-pedagogical care for young people and adults with intellectual disabilities.
CHNP also offers outpatient psychiatric, child psychiatric, and psychotherapeutic consultations, as well as addiction treatment and forensic psychiatry services. The hospital is committed to modern, open, and effective psychiatry, focusing on patient autonomy, social integration, and multidisciplinary care

Quality

CHNP emphasizes evidence-based, multidisciplinary care and continuous staff development. The hospital has implemented specialized orientation systems for residents (notably in De Park) to promote independence and well-being.
