Founded in 1855 as "Hospice Central," the CHNP is Luxembourg’s oldest and largest psychiatric hospital. It is structured into three main entities:

• Rehaklinik: Psychiatric rehabilitation for adults with chronic severe mental illness (psychosis, mood disorders).

• Centre Pontalize: Care and support for elderly people, including psychogeriatric services.

• De Park: Socio-pedagogical care for young people and adults with intellectual disabilities.
  CHNP also offers outpatient psychiatric, child psychiatric, and psychotherapeutic consultations, as well as addiction treatment and forensic psychiatry services.
