Hospital Central “Dr. Ignacio Morones Prieto” is a historic and leading public teaching hospital in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Founded in 1946 following the vision of Dr. Gustavo Baz and the leadership of Dr. Ignacio Morones Prieto, the hospital was created to address the region’s urgent need for modern, high-quality healthcare and medical education. Over the decades, it has played a pivotal role in training generations of healthcare professionals and providing advanced medical care to the community, officially adopting its current name in 1954 to honor Dr. Morones Prieto’s foundational contributions
