Founded in 1944, Hospital da Baleia is one of the largest philanthropic hospitals in Minas Gerais, serving the entire state with a focus on humanized, dignified care for children, youth, and adults. Located in a green reserve (Mata da Baleia), the hospital complex comprises three units, offering a tranquil environment that aids patient recovery. With a mission rooted in transparency, sustainability, and high professional standards, the hospital performs around 500,000 procedures annually-most through the SUS. It is also a center for medical residency and health education, with over 300 renowned doctors on staff.
