Hospital del Trauma was inaugurated in December 2013 as a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to treating patients injured in work and traffic accidents. It is the only hospital in Costa Rica and the region specifically designed for trauma care. The hospital was built to centralize and optimize trauma services previously provided by private hospitals and the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS). The facility features modern, comfortable environments, advanced medical technology, and highly trained personnel, aiming to deliver high-quality, efficient, and safe care.
