It promises a lot, a hospital with apparently three floors, new facilities, and new biomedical equipment. Its construction has taken more than four years, with a multi-million dollar federal budget approved during AMLO's six-year term. A construction that, from its inception, has represented major changes that directly impact its surroundings. It will house at least 60 beds and offer a variety of medical services, as a general hospital should, as well as specialized ones. Its opening was expected in 2021, but it has been delayed. This will be the flagship hospital for the state of Tlaxcala and will belong to the hospital zone, along with the Children's Hospital and the Women's Hospital. It will also house the blood bank, the rehabilitation unit, and the hemodialysis unit. Its delivery method remains unknown, as the institutions involved are SESA, INSABI, and IMSS Bienestar.
