Hospital Hélio Angotti, also known as Hospital de Câncer do Triângulo, is a philanthropic, nonprofit institution and a national reference in cancer care, especially for medium and high complexity cases. Founded and maintained by the Associação de Combate ao Câncer do Brasil Central (ACCBC), the hospital was inaugurated in 1961 and has over six decades of experience in oncology. It serves Uberaba and a network of 27 to 60 municipalities in the Triângulo Mineiro region, covering a population of approximately 700,000 people. The hospital is committed to humanized, high-quality cancer care, focusing on early diagnosis, prevention, and advanced treatment-including surgical oncology, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy. Over 96% of its care is provided through Brazil’s public health system (SUS).
