Hospital Iguassú, also known as Maternidade Mariana Bulhões, is a historic and newly modernized maternity hospital in the heart of Nova Iguaçu. Originally opened in 1935, the hospital was closed for 15 years and fully renovated before its grand reopening in 2024. It is dedicated to providing comprehensive, humanized care to pregnant women, especially those with medium and high-risk pregnancies, and their newborns. The hospital is a symbol of pride and emotional significance for the local community and is equipped with advanced technology and modern infrastructure for safe, comfortable, and dignified care.
