Originally constructed in the 1930s and used extensively during World War II and the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, it served as a crucial medical facility for treating wounded soldiers and civilians. In the 1960s, it was repurposed as a nuclear bunker during the Cold War. Today, it stands as a museum, preserving the medical equipment and conditions of its time, and offering visitors a profound insight into the human aspects of war and medical history.
