Hospital do Subúrbio (HS) is a pioneering public hospital located in Salvador, Bahia. Opened on September 13, 2010, it was the first public hospital in Brazil managed through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP). It provides high-quality emergency and specialized care to the suburban area of Salvador and surrounding regions. The hospital is operated by the Prodal Saúde consortium (Promédica and Vivante) under a long-term contract with the State of Bahia, which owns the facility. With 373 beds and state-of-the-art medical services, HS is widely recognized for innovation in healthcare delivery.
