Initially designated for COVID-19 patients requiring intensive care, the facility has since broadened its services to treat various other conditions, including severe bacterial pneumonia, strokes, and heart failure. This transformation underscores the city's commitment to repurposing existing infrastructures to meet evolving public health needs.
