Hospital Municipal Cidade Tiradentes was inaugurated on July 1, 2007, as the first municipal hospital in São Paulo managed by a Social Health Organization (OSS), Santa Marcelina, in partnership with the city government. It is a general, medium-complexity hospital with 24-hour emergency services, providing universal and free care exclusively through SUS. The hospital serves an estimated population of over 520,000 in Cidade Tiradentes/Guaianases and surrounding areas, offering all basic medical specialties and acting as a reference for 38 regional health units. It is recognized for its innovative architecture, advanced technology, and commitment to humanized, high-quality care, performing around 17,000–20,000 patient visits per month.
