In 2015, the medical association of Santiago de Veraguas recognized a basic need in the community: the lack of a hospital that could provide decent, quality medical care to the population of the province and surrounding areas. Thus, the idea of creating Médica Norte Nuevo Santiago was born.
With a trained medical staff and a modern, well-equipped infrastructure, Médica Norte Nuevo Santiago has become the "North" of private healthcare in our community, offering a wide range of medical services, from primary care to specialized treatment in various fields.

Absolutely top notch! From the impeccable cleanliness of the facility to the fantastic friendly staff, it's a win / win all the way around! Yesterday I had arthroscopic surgery on my knee to repair torn meniscus. Dr. Raphael Tristan is simply wonderful. He is kind and thorough and so very, very patient and competent! He gave us his private Whatsapp number and answered multiple questions in the 10 days before the surgery with grace and gratitude. There are a few of the staff that speak English, although most don't ... but if your Spanish is not great, the use of a translator makes it all very smooth. I HIGHLY recommend Medica Norte and Dr. Tristan!
