The Hospital Nacional de Salud Mental Manuel Antonio Chapuí y Torres, formerly known as Hospital Nacional Psiquiátrico, is Costa Rica’s leading institution for specialized mental health care. Managed by the Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social (CCSS), this third-level hospital provides comprehensive psychiatric and psychological services, addressing acute and chronic mental health conditions.
