Inaugurated on November 22, 1941, originally as Sanatorio-Colonia Buenos Aires, it is named after Dr. Baldomero Sommer, a prominent Argentine dermatologist and leprologist. The hospital covers an area of around 250 hectares and consists of eight pavilions, four neighborhoods, a cemetery, a chapel, and a pantry.

2. It is a beautiful place, good service, far away but it is beautiful, everything, everything. It makes me want to go live there, they treated my mom super well! It hurts the long trip from Parque San Martin to there but it's worth it.
The only thing I can say is "bad" is that it is difficult to communicate or when the doctor was absent for two weeks in a row, we went both times and she didn't come, and we never received a call to let us know, we found out there.
