Hospital Naval Marcílio Dias (HNMD) is the principal healthcare institution of the Brazilian Navy and the only one capable of providing high-complexity care for military and civilian patients. Founded in 1934, it has evolved into a national reference center, serving not only the Navy but also other armed forces and the general population in emergencies. The hospital is equipped with highly qualified personnel and state-of-the-art technology, offering comprehensive tertiary care, teaching, and research.
