My reason for posting here is to ask about this hospital. My question is to ask whether this hospital accepts provincial health cards (ex: OHIP in Ontario). I was told by their head cardiologist 2 years ago ( BEFORE the hospital was even completely built) Can anyone tell me about this?

Excellent service, I come from Playa del Carmen and they treat me very well. Clean hospital.

The Regional High Specialty Hospital offers consultation, inpatient, and treatment services free of charge, or with a fee, depending on the socioeconomic status of the patient and the lack of social security or IMSS (Mexican Social Security Institute). Like any hospital in the healthcare sector, there are procedures and waiting times. The staff are friendly and kind, and the people are serious but efficient and get the job done.
