San José Hospital was founded in April 1962 by Dr. Alberto Sahagún de la Parra, supported by his wife, Mrs. Teresa Jiménez Vargas. In August of that same year, it was incorporated as a corporation, with Dr. Alberto Sahagún de la Parra as its director, and the founding partners being Dr. Enrique Sahagún de la Parra, Felipe Velarde Torres, and David Guzmán Segura.

Since its inception, San José Hospital has been characterized by offering a full range of services, including delivery room, inpatient care, imaging, surgery, laboratory, and dietetics.

Currently, the hospital continues to offer all basic and specialized medical care services. It also has the latest technology in electromedical equipment to provide safe and reliable medical services.
