San Lucas Hospital "Cardiológica del Sureste" was structured under a model of general medical care, providing medical services in all specialties, as cardiovascular diseases are linked to various chronic degenerative pathologies that currently constitute part of the morbidity and mortality rates in the health of our country and state. We are aware that, by regulation, San Lucas Hospital is required to include care in the areas of: gynecology, obstetrics, pediatrics, general surgery, among others.

Mexican Heart Foundation

It is the only hospital in the southeast endorsed by the Mexican Heart Foundation, which allows it to provide medical care in all specialties to low-income populations through said foundation, following strict analysis based on established guidelines for granting this type of support.

System Similar to the National Institutes of Health

Medical care is provided according to a socioeconomic classification. A system similar to the National Health Institutes was created, where the population can be classified from level 1 to 5, with level 1 being assigned to the low-income population who can cover the fee according to their possibilities, compared to level 5 which corresponds to the population of high socioeconomic level, being able to cover the fees corresponding to that level (with optional support from medical expense insurers) or individually with each patient who does NOT have insurance.
