1. The only public university hospital in Santa Marta, excellent facilities, public parking, mini park with exercise equipment, I couldn't get the phone number, I imagine that all the appointments come channeled through the eps, ips arl and others. They receive blood donations. Located on 23rd and 15th streets, easy access and open 24 hours a day.
2. Fairly good.
Experience as a foreigner: They ask you to deposit 500 thousand (USD 140 today) on account. We spent about 6 hours between admission, advance payment, care and discharge.
The good: clean facilities, regular service, proximity to the center, there is an ATM to withdraw money.
The bad: the deposit is yes or if it is cash and in COP (Not dollar, not card). Additionally, the companion remains outside the hospital until you are authorized to enter for some reason.
