Dr. Phan Thanh Hai graduated as a Medical Doctor from Saigon Medical University in 1974, did residency at Binh Dan Hospital, studied in France and Germany, specializing in Oncology - Diagnostic Imaging.

He is the founder and operator of Medic Medical Diagnostic Center since 1990, developing the Medic system nationwide (Hanoi - Hue - Da Nang - Can Tho - Dong Thap - Kien Giang), Laos & Cambodia.

He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Binh An Joint Stock Company (Kien Giang), which invests in Binh An Hospital (Kien Giang), Domedic Hospital (Dong Thap). Currently, Medic invests in Medic Hospital in Binh Tan High-Tech Medical Zone to become a postgraduate training hospital in association with a foreign Medical University.
