I slipped down the stairs at my resort. I was in excruciating pain and the resort doctor gave me some anti inflammatory med and called me an ambulance as we thought I might have tore a ligament in my ankle. I was first seen by Dr Omar Jimenez Navarro, who was extremely professional and kind took a look and told me we would need X-rays. I was there with my young son and they also made sure he was ok. Then I saw the orthopedist Dr Juan Carlos Cuervo Cruz who was also amazing. He reassured me and they provided a boot with crutches. Yes they asked for my insurance information as they would. All the staff from the nurses, X-rays technician, doctors and reception staff were all friendly, kind and professional. They were even kind to my son. I highly recommend this private hsp. If you’re traveling out of country you need travel insurance! All private hsp cost more money. I wasn’t charged anything because my travel insurance covered it all. I was extremely pleasure with their service

We had a critical medical emergency, our son had some intestinal problems. He was assessed with the professionalism, he was diagnosed properly and transferred to the main hospital in Cancun for a further treatment. The staff was very honest to say that they don’t have the team to proceed with the treatment in Riviera Maya. The transfer was done in the medical transport and under the surveillance of the pediatrician from Cancun in the most professional way. Their initial assessment, diagnostic and actions, including informing the Cancun team about our son condition, saved him life. They worked directly with our travel insurance, so we didn’t have any problems to manage it.
