Founded in July 2007, the Araguaia Regional Public Hospital arrived in Redenção with technological innovations and the capacity to serve the population of Redenção and 14 other municipalities in the southern region of Pará, offering medium and high complexity procedures. Until the implementation of the HRPA, the population had to travel to Belém or other states to receive adequate care.

With modern equipment, the specialized multidisciplinary team works in an integrated manner, in a constant search for good practices, considering humanization as an essential attribute for a vision of health care to guarantee the best care for the patient.

The institution, which is 100% public, serves patients through the Unified Health System (SUS).

Our services include medical specialty offices, an intensive care unit (ICU), 24-hour emergency and urgency services, and a pediatric, neonatal and hemodialysis support center with advanced technology equipment. We also offer a wide variety of clinical and laboratory tests to provide highly accurate diagnoses.

The hospital has been managed by the Health, Sports, Leisure and Culture Association – ASELC since 2019, under a management contract with the Pará State Department of Public Health (SESPA).

HRPC is recognized for its high standards of care, humanized service, and advanced medical technology. In 2024, the hospital achieved a user satisfaction rate of 99.52% according to its User Service department. The hospital continually invests in modernizing its infrastructure and expanding services, ensuring quality and safety for all patients.
