Huntington Beach Hospital: Emergency Room is a 131-bed, not-for-profit, acute-care community hospital founded in 1967. As the only hospital in Huntington Beach, it serves as a vital healthcare resource for the community. The hospital is a member of the Prime Healthcare Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity. It is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and employs nearly 200 physicians and over 400 healthcare professionals. The emergency department is designed to care for patients with acute medical problems who cannot wait to be seen by a private physician.
