The Vietnam Red Cross Society (Hội Chữ Thập Đỏ Việt Nam) is a national humanitarian organization founded by President Ho Chi Minh on November 23, 1946. It brings together people of all backgrounds to carry out humanitarian work, support victims of war and disasters, and provide material and spiritual assistance to those in need. The Society also participates in public health, blood donation, and disaster prevention and response, operating nationwide in accordance with Vietnamese law and the principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement
