The complex consists of four main hospitals: Imam Khomeini Hospital, Valiasr Hospital, the Cancer Institute, and Hazrat Mahdi Hospital, along with specialized paraclinical centers. It is affiliated with Tehran University of Medical Sciences and is renowned for pioneering medical procedures, comprehensive specialty care, and a distinguished faculty of over 400 members.
