I was recently seen in the ER for chest pains and an extremely high blood pressure. I was triaged quickly and tests to rule out a heart attack were started immediately. While I didn’t have a heart attack they discovered that my blood glucose levels were crazy high and I was admitted. I spent 3 days on the 5th floor cardiac unit in the hospital while they worked to get the numbers under control. I also had additional tests to make certain my heart was functioning properly. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the nursing and support staff on that floor. Their care of and for me was amazing. Every single person that was involved in my care from my arrival in the ER to my discharge was caring, beyond competent and very patient with a nervous old lady!! Thank you all for everything. Went to the Emergency Room on Monday January 6. Even though I had to wait 4+ hours to be seen. I was treated very well. From chech in to triage to going back to a room to be seen. The Doctor was so thorough. He explained everything to me. In less in 24 hours I feel so much better. Highly recommend going there
