1. OECI Accreditation: The institute has been twice accredited and certified by the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes (OECI) as a "Comprehensive Cancer Centre." This quality label is awarded only to multidisciplinary cancer care institutions that integrate research, training, and patient care while meeting certain quantitative criteria. The Jules Bordet Institute is unique in Belgium for holding this accreditation​​.

2. Silver Dolphin Award: The institute’s video, "Chronos & Kairos," produced in cooperation with Sunfishing Creations, won the Silver Dolphin at the 10th Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards in 2019. 3. Young Physician Award - Jean Klastersky: Named after Professor Jean Klastersky, this award encourages research into supportive care in oncology. The first award was given in December 2019 at the Cancer Toxicity Management Conference in Paris. It supports young doctors involved in cancer patient care and includes financial support and enrollment at the MASCC Congress​​.
