About Us :

ntensive Specialty Hospital provides comprehensive, personalized acute care services for patients who need extended time to recover from medically complex conditions.

As Northwest Louisiana’s long-term acute care specialist, we offer highly complex treatments including ventilator management and weaning, advanced wound care, and rehabilitation therapies. With four locations in Shreveport and Bossier City, we are the largest provider of LTAC services in Northwest Louisiana.

Additionally, our Shreveport Campus provides specialized inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and addiction medicine services.

Intensive Specialty Hospital employs a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to meet the needs of a wide population of patients. From the nurses and respiratory therapists to the rehab specialists and housekeepers, each staff member at Intensive Specialty is committed to delivering a first-class patient experience.

Great facility Friendly People and caring staff. (the security guard Delbert is a great man!! Always friendly and helps anyone! Even walks the nurses to and back from the parking lot)
