3rd time delivering here and again THE BEST! 🤩 Let’s start off with how they are big on respecting their patients wishes which I truly LOVE 🥰 I am JW and opted out of receiving blood transfusions in the event of an emergency and Pam and Sharon made sure they let me know they’d never ever go against my wishes and commended me for being strong during this time. I ended up needing a c section and the team who did mine was flawless to say the least! Two ladies stood on both sides of me and my husband and comforted us and reassured us as they watched the surgeon and informed us of what he was doing and how things were looking every step of the way! My birth plan was followed and I took my placenta home and immediately got skin to skin with baby 😍 The after care of my surgery was phenomenal I was given the belly binder which isn’t always given at every place. That was helpful and the food was amazing for a hospital 😋 Everyone from the nurses to the surgeon to the lactation and everyone else was so nice and warm towards me I highly recommend this hospital for birth!~nay duncan
My wife just delivered our first baby last week and we thought the experience was terrific. The staff were respectful of our wishes, attentive to our needs, and generally helpful and friendly. We wound up with a surprise c section that was a little scary in the moment, but went flawlessly.
Of the whole experience, we were really grateful and impressed by the birthing and parenting classes available. Sarah was especially impressive!! If we didn't take all of her classes, we'll be signing up for more. The knowledge and confidence we gained will be invaluable going forward.
We would highly recommend st Joe's to any future parents!~
