The academic activities of Islami Bank Medical College commenced through admission of 50 students in 2003-04 academic session.   The admission is based on merit keeping in conformity with Government Order published and adopted by IBMC Academic Council and Governing Body.

Islami Bank Medical College is a private Medical College located in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Islami Bank Medical College was established on 2003 in Rajshahi by Islami Bank Bangladesh. Islamic Bank is connect with the Jannat-e-Islami Bangladesh political party. The college has an hospital attached to it. Raudha Athif, a Maldivian model, was a student in the college was found dead inside the dormitory of the college on 29 March 2017.
