The academic activities of Islami Bank Medical College commenced through admission of 50 students in 2003-04 academic session.   The admission is based on merit keeping in conformity with Government Order published and adopted by IBMC Academic Council and Governing Body.

• Hospital Services: The 350-bed hospital offers a wide array of services, including emergency care, outpatient and inpatient services, surgical procedures, and diagnostic facilities.​

• Departments: IBMCH houses various departments such as Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Radiology, Cardiology, Dermatology, and more.
