In the mid-1940s, with the advancement of medical science and the development of the country's universities on the one hand, and the increasing exchange of information and the return of doctors educated abroad to their homeland on the other, the need to establish modern medical centers with up-to-date and advanced technology was felt more than ever .
Private hospitals in the 1940s were built in the style of hospitals in the 1920s and were not much different from government hospitals. Operating rooms were very simple and without special equipment, and patient rooms were also built in the simplest possible way. Most of these hospitals were founded with private capital from one or more people, and thus no significant investment was made in equipment .

For example, an anesthesiologist, as a fledgling specialty provider, was forced to transport anesthesia equipment from hospital to hospital in the trunk of his car .

In the mid-1960s, renowned professors such as Professor Hassan Hashemian and Professor Ebrahim Samiei, encouraged by Dr. Abdollah Alikhani , decided to establish the "Jam" Medical Group, a hospital with up-to-date and advanced technology to provide superior medical services.

After the necessary investigations, the current land of the hospital adjacent to Takht Tavous Street, covering an area of ​​4000 square meters, was purchased and the responsibility for designing and implementing the hospital building was assigned to the "Group Four" engineering company. Finally, on September 1968, the foundation stone for the hospital was laid by the late Professor Hassan Hashemian and Professor Ebrahim Samiei.
