Kyushu Welfare Pension Hospital, was established in 1955 in Kurosaki, Yahatahigashi-ku, Kitakyushu City as the third welfare pension hospital in Japan. Initially, we started with three departments: orthopedics, internal medicine, and surgery, and gradually the number of medical departments increased, and in 1977, the number of hospital beds was expanded to the current 575 beds. Sixty -nine years have passed since our opening, and we have become a core hospital in the western Kitakyushu area, focusing on advanced acute care and specialized medical care.
