Jivodaya Hospital is a compassionate, 40-bedded general hospital located in Ashok Vihar, North West Delhi, managed by the Sisters of the Destitute. Established in 1980 by the venerable Fr. Varghese Payapilly, the hospital’s mission is to provide quality healthcare to marginalized and economically weaker sections of society. I have had a few acute and several chronic skin conditions since 2015. I must say that not only has Dr. Devika Choudhry successfully managed my condition but also done what I would like to term as healing. She has acute perception and is supremely in control of the situation, putting the patient at ease. This ability of being able to put the suffering individual at ease is almost divine. She listens patiently, a quality that is most admirable in today's times. We as patients are unaware as to how confused we are with this plethora of misinformation available to us on different mediums. Our skin is perhaps a very important and perhaps most neglected part of our bodies. I feel it to be a blessing to be under your care, Dr. Choudhry. I must also add that with people like you, this noble profession is in some very safe and capable hands.
