Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital — one of the region’s leading pediatric hospitals — is trusted by South Florida families in the moments that count. Established in 1992, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital combines advanced technology and the expertise of the largest, most diverse group of board-certified pediatric specialists in the region. To meet the growing needs of the community, the hospital expanded in 2011 and again in 2022. Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital now has 216 beds.

In its first year of operation, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital’s medical staff included 90 physicians and patient admissions numbered 2,000. Through the years, the hospital has enhanced and expanded its services and programs to help meet the growing and diverse needs of the community.
