It had been over 50:years Since I had been to a VA facility. I had a bad experience at the time and said I would ever return. I had read about the New VA Hospital in Detroit and I needed some Dental work so I decided to give it a try. It is a beautiful complex and extremely clean all of it not limited to certain areas, all of it. Was very impressed by the staff. Everyone that we came into contact with were helpful. They went out of their way to be answer questions and help with directions. The staff behind the counter in the Dental Section were very friendly and helpful. The Doctor and her assistant were friendly and knowledgeable and explained the procedure and process. The Dentist and his assistant explained what they were going to do and made me feel comfortable with their decision. We came into contact with numerous staff members throughout the day but the thing that impressed me the most was they all were helpful and friendly. They all appeared to enjoy their job and were glad to be there. Not something you see these days. ~Lynn Dornan
This was my first experience stepping into this beautiful hospital. My Primary care team is located at the Pontiac facility and sent me down today for x-rays..... wow. I've never had faster service in my life. Got to the hospital, was at the check in counter for radiology within 5 minutes, sat down after checking in and 3 minutes later I was called into the back. I was heading back to my car within 10 minutes. My wife was amazed~Jeffery Parkes
