1. I was recently a patient here on 1N500 from March-May. Overall I had a good experience. The psychiatrists were very thorough and understanding. There’s a good team involving a social worker, peer support worker and recreation therapists along with nurses. There are usually activities going on through the week and the option to leave on day/overnight passes. A few nurses I found to be inattentive/argumentative. The food is good, the outpatient services for mental health great and it is clean. Thank you JBH!
2. I was extremely nervous for my MRI as I am claustrophobic. The MRI tech was very calming and friendly. He talked to me, made me feel at ease and my anxiety settled knowing everything was going to be ok.
If I could choose the hospital to have future MRIs done, it will be Joseph Brant. Overall, the hospital is bright, and very welcoming. Everyone seems happy, pleasant and great energy. Thank you for making a stressful experience not so stressful:) Robyn
