Therefore, it is proposed to build a separate attached hospital to meet the actual needs. After several delays, the third board of directors was established after the reorganization and continued to build the attached hospital building. The board of directors decided to first form a "school building construction committee" to be responsible for careful planning. The latest seven-story building was selected in front of the medical school square as the building. Mr. Gao Huangeng of the Department of Architectural Engineering of the Provincial National Cheng Kung University was commissioned to design it. The Xinzhicheng Construction Company was contracted to build it and named it "Private Kaohsiung Medical College Attached Zhonghe Memorial Hospital" to show the respect for Mr. Chen Qichuan's father, Mr. Zhonghe.
