The Emergency Department at Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital (KSVGH) is a 24/7 facility providing urgent and specialized care for all types of emergencies. It is a core part of the only public medical center in southern Taiwan and serves as the trauma and disaster response hub for the region. The department is staffed by full-time attending physicians and senior residents and is integrated into the Kaohsiung and Pingtung emergency medical network, ensuring rapid referrals and coordinated care.
