The Ophthalmology Department at Vietnam–Cuba Dong Hoi Friendship Hospital specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of eye diseases. The department is notable for its pioneering use of self-produced fibrin biological glue in pterygium surgery with autologous conjunctival grafts, making the hospital the fourth in Vietnam to research and apply this advanced technique. This innovation enhances patient comfort, safety, and recovery, and demonstrates the department’s commitment to modern, patient-centered ophthalmic care
