1. I was hospitalized from 12 May to 18 May at block B ward 85 bed 11&33 due to humerus fracture. Most of the nurses are helpful, caring & giving a lot of helps. I noticed most of the nurses are non local😀. One of my female junior doctor(forgot to ask her name), she was so nice and she is really a potential of good doctor in future👍👍👍. Really appreciated and thanks for the treatment.
2. Went for a CT scan at KTPH. Pretty easy to find the Radiology room at Tower B B25 at level 2.
Such a waste there is no connection for the public to use from community hospital to KTPH.
Appointment was 10am finished my scan at 1145am so be prepare for some waiting time.
So first thing you do when you enter is write your name and NRIC on a piece of paper then wait for your name to be called. Once called you will do your payment for your scan. Once that is done you will head to the scanning area where you will change out into the suitable attire and then wait for your turn. For myself I had to inject some contrast liquid for a clearer scan so be prepared to have a plastic tube on placed your hands before the scan. It will on you until your scan is done.
During the scan there will be instructions clearly told to you so just follow them.
After the scan is done change out and wait 10 minutes and have the tube remove. Once 10 minutes is up you are free to go.
