The Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center (LVMC) serves as the primary teaching hospital for the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. It offers comprehensive veterinary services through its Hixson-Lied Small Animal Hospital and Large Animal Hospital, providing primary, specialty, and emergency care. LVMC is staffed by board-certified veterinarians, residents, interns, veterinary technicians, and fourth-year veterinary students, all dedicated to advancing animal health and veterinary education. ​
