The Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship Hospital, formally named after Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is one of Kyrgyzstan’s most advanced modern hospitals, established under the Turkish-Kyrgyz partnership. Opened in 2021 by presidential decree on a site of 12,000m², the hospital was constructed with the support of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) as a non-profit state institution focused on high-tech medical care and education. It bridges the latest medical protocols of both countries and brings world-class care closer to Kyrgyzstani citizens.

The hospital's facilities include two operating rooms, one angiography unit, and 22 intensive care beds. It conducts over 15,000 examinations, nearly 200 cardiovascular surgeries, and approximately 1,800 angiograms each year.
